Dr. Jessica Lofgren, D.C., DACNB

Dr. Jessica Lofgren has a great appreciation for the sophistication of the nervous system and human body. She has a passion with helping patients achieve optimal brain and body performance. While pursuing her undergraduate education, Dr. Lofgren worked as a chiropractic assistant and a research assistant in the Biochemistry department. She also tutored students in biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, and metabolic nutrition. She earned her Bachelor of Science, graduating cum laude, from Virginia Tech with a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise. Dr. Lofgren received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in September 2017.

While in chiropractic school, she served as President of Functional Neurology Club, where she lectured on the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. She was also a national representation for the Motion Palpation Institute and was an Executive Officer for Soft Tissue Club. Dr. Lofgren worked as a teaching assistant for Activator Methods, where she earned her Level 1 certification in Activator Technique. Dr. Lofgren received the Clinical Excellence Award as well as the Academic Excellence Award for her efforts during her education and graduated magna cum laude.

During her time in chiropractic school, Dr. Lofgren began her education in the field of Chiropractic Neurology with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. She spent her weekends and evenings during school training with the top chiropractic neurologists in the world. Upon graduation, she was immediately able to pursue a Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.

Dr. Lofgren is now working to complete her post-graduate advanced training in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Movement Disorders. Her background and expertise in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology has allowed her to focus on treating a wide range of neurological disorders including chronic pain, headaches, balance and dizziness issues, and learning disabilities or delay. Her work in functional neurology allows her to look at the patient as a whole and develop a treatment plan unique to each individual.
