So How Important Is It?

When astronauts go into space, they do not get the same input from gravity, which causes them to experience space dementia and emotional changes. Movement activates your nervous system, and keeps you mentally alert and healthy. So, it is essential to keep your body moving for health. When a joint gets fixated you do not have as much movement as you should. Therefore, you get less activation of your nervous system.

When movement is decreased, you can have pain and degeneration of the tissues inside and outside of your joints. Chiropractic care keeps our joints and the associated muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and fascia healthy. By keeping these tissues healthy, pain signals to the brain are decreased, healthy signals are increased thereby helping to maintain optimal well-being.

Instead we evaluate the patient, determine their health needs, overlap that with the patient’s personal preferences, and then choose the technique that best suits the case.
