Cassandra Jimenez, DC, DACNB, FABVR
Dr. Cassandra Jimenez is a board certified chiropractic neurologist with a passion for helping patients with complex neurological conditions. Born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, Dr. Jimenez brings a wealth of expertise to her practice, specializing in traumatic brain injuries, dysautonomia, childhood developmental disorders, and vestibular rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in natural science with a major in human biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Jimenez completed her doctorate in chiropractic at Life University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded with the Clinic Excellence Award while also becoming the Valedictorian of her class. Dr. Jimenez holds a fellowship from the American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation and has dedicated thousands of hours of clinical observations and postdoctoral studies in clinical neuroscience with the Carrick Institute. She has treated patients with complex neurological conditions in clinics located in Puerto Rico, Illinois and currently in Marietta, GA.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Jimenez shares her expertise in the academic realm as an adjunct professor in the Chiropractic Science department within the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Life University. She imparts knowledge in various courses, including Motion Palpation, Full Spine Technique, Neuroanatomy, and Neurological Diagnosis. Beyond her teaching and clinical work, Dr. Jimenez actively contributes to the field through her written work. She is a contributing author for the book Concussion Discussions: A Functional Approach to Recovery After Brain Injury (Volume 2). Additionally, she co-authored a case study published in The Georgia Chiropractic Magazine (Spring 2022) and has peer-reviewed case studies published in the journal Frontiers in Neuroscience.
