Juli Owens, DC
Dr. Juli Owens joins our team from North Alabama, where she grew up the youngest of five children. This helped her learn early that critical thinking and problem solving were important skills in life. She translated that into an athletic career where she played soccer as a center midfielder, constantly needing to think on her feet. These abilities took her on to gain a college scholarship at Faulkner University. During her time there, Dr. Owens was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma and Alpha Chi which are athlete and national honor societies respectively, while also being involved in different health-related communities such as a medical careers club. Dr. Owens graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.
Towards the end of her time in college, Juli Owens dealt with her own health concerns of dysautonomia and syncope problems. She credits this time period, where she was in and out of multiple doctors’ offices of varying specialties, for her abilities to be a listening and compassionate doctor. She gained the understanding that no area of the body functions as a single unit and sought out a profession that allowed her to help other individuals who needed a holistic approach to health.
Dr. Juli Owens continued her education at Life University, joining the Doctor of Chiropractic program. Here she was very involved on campus, attempting to learn as many techniques as possible to support her future patients. She was an officer in the Functional Neurology and Gonstead Technique clubs as a student to help teach others more about the ways she learned to care for patients.
Dr. Juli Owens graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University and since has loved working at Georgia Chiropractic Neurology Center. Her greatest joy is learning more every day as science progresses to help explain and facilitate healing between the brain and body. Her patients can look forward to a caring, knowledgeable, and professional experience tailored to their specific needs to heal.
